Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies visited by Egyptian scientists
On 4 September 2018, Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was visited by Prof. Ahmad Rajab Muhammad Rizk, Dr. Magda Sadah Mahluf and Ahmad Tabarik.
The scientists were received by the Rector of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies Prof. Abdurahim Mannanov.
Prof. Abdurahim Mannanov gave a talk on scientific breakthrough of scientists of TSUOS, education process, Arab language, literature, history of foreign eastern countries, Eastern philosophy and opportunities of learning of Middle East economy.
At the meeting made speech – the dean of the faculty of historical monuments of Cairo University Prof. Ahmad Rajab Muhammad Rizk. The author of more than 30 scientific works, which were devoted to the cultural heritage and historical monuments of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Among them two-volume edition of “Islamic civilization and relics of Bukhara” from series of encyclopedia “Islamic civilization and the relics of the countries of the Great Silk Road”, which was published in 2017. In 2018 was published his next work, which was written on basis of Arab and Turkic sources, which was devoted to the relics of Samarkand. Before long, expects of publication of multivolume, which will be devoted to Tashkent, Khiva, Termez, Karshi and Shahrisabz. The specialist of Turkic philology Dr. Magda Sadah Mahluf is the author of translation of “Baburnama” from Persian into Arab. She also translated into Arab language literary works of Turkic language nations and the works of Uzbek classical literature. The grace of her initiative at present time at Ain-Shams University learns Uzbek language. Ahmad Tabarik is the author of the book “Uzbekistan” and more than 70 scientific articles, which were devoted to the social-political reforms, improvement of the environment in the region and Aral Sea.
The participants of the meeting came to agreement to hold a joint conferences, teacher and student exchange, all-rounded cooperation in sphere of education. The guests kindly gave to the library of TSIOS own publications.
