Online lectures on interdisciplinary research
The Faculty of Korean Studies of Tashkent state university of oriental studies has been cooperating with Kyungdong University for many years. KDU Global regularly hosts online lectures by professors and experts from partner universities around the world. Therefore, from December 2023, the Faculty of Korean Studies of TSUOS has started organizing a series of online lectures on the topic of “Intercultural Communication” with Kyungdong University.
As part of this series of lectures, on December 18, 2023, the dean of the Faculty of Korean Studies of Tashkent state university of oriental studies, Professor Usmanova Shoira’s lecture entitled “Nonverbal Communication in Intercultural Communication”, Associate Professor of the Department of Chinese Philology, Ph.D. Shokhistakhon Shamsieva’s lecture on “The use of euphemisms in intercultural communication” was held at Kyungdong University through the online ZOOM platform. These lectures were posted on the Education platform of Kyungdong University.
