On September 27, 2024, an international forum was held at Beijing Foreign Studies and Culture University to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Confucius Institutes.
At the forum, Saodat Nasirova, a professor at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the director of the Confucius Institute in Uzbekistan, was honored for her exemplary 10-year service and delivered a speech as the first-ever director of a Confucius Institute.
During the forum, a congratulatory speech by the rector of TSUOS, Professor Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, marking the 20th anniversary of Confucius Institutes, was also presented. More information about this international forum is available on Chinese websites
