“Reading is the basis of development of innovative ideas in thinking of the youth”
On 20th of December 2018, at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was held an event “Reading is the basis of innovative ideas in the thinking of students.” At event, which was organized by the Department of Social Sciences took part the personnel, teaching staff and students.
The event began with the report about the role of the books in the intellectual development of the youth and its expansion of worldview in modern time. The art program, which was prepared by the student, included stage performances, lyric songs, poetry reading and ghazals. During the event, the students made a speech about the novel by Abdullah Kodiriy “Mehrobdan Chayon”, “Three Friends” by Eric Maria Remarque, Pirimkul Kadyrov’s “Star Night”, Said Ahmad’s “Hijron kunlari” and Chulpon’s “Night and Day”. Also in their speech, they noted the importance of reading in the spiritual development of youth.
