TSUOS Delegation Visits Gansu University of Political Science and Law: Prospects for Student Exchange and Academic Cooperation Discussed
On May 6, 2025, a delegation from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, led by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Nodir Abdullayev, visited Gansu University of Political Science and Law (China) and held negotiations on developing cooperation in student exchange and scientific research.
The Rector of Gansu University of Political Science and Law, Mr. Zhen Gaojian, expressed the university’s intention to send graduate students majoring in “Chinese Language Teaching,” as well as students studying Russian and Uzbek languages, to TSUOS for practical internships starting in September 2025. He also noted that the list of Chinese students to be sent to Tashkent is currently being finalized.
He emphasized the significance of the ongoing international research project titled “The Global Role of Dunhuang Culture,” implemented jointly by TSUOS and Gansu University of Political Science and Law, in advancing scientific cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed launching joint educational programs in “International Journalism” and “International Relations,” organizing student and researcher exchanges, professional development courses for teachers and administrative staff, and implementing joint scientific research projects.
