Labor Collective Conference Dedicated to the Adoption of the Collective Agreement of the Trade Union Committee at TSUOS
On March 16, 2026, a conference of the labor collective was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The conference was dedicated to reviewing the implementation of the collective agreement concluded between the university administration and the trade union committee for 2023–2025, particularly its fulfillment in 2025, as well as adopting a new collective agreement for 2026–2028.
The conference was attended by Abdukhalil Rakhmonov, Chairman of the Council of the Tashkent City Branch of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan, Fazliddin Barkashbayev, Leading Specialist of the Social Insurance Department of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, Barno Sabirova, Chief Specialist for Labor Protection of the Council of the Tashkent City Branch of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan, the Rector of the university Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, vice-rectors, heads of departments, and members of the teaching staff.
Vice-Rector Shuhrat Mirziyatov and Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Chori Khusanov presented information on the university’s economic activities, working hours and rest periods, labor discipline and incentives, social insurance and guarantees, cultural and educational activities and sports, employment contracts and job security guarantees, wages and social assistance, labor protection, professional training and professional development, as well as benefits for women and youth.
In addition, the Chairwoman of the Women’s Committee, Shirin Zaynutdinova, provided information on social, economic, and legal interests and on the implementation report of the collective agreement. At the end of the conference, it was confirmed that the collective agreement had been fully implemented.
