TSUOS Begins Cooperation with SOAS University of London

Rector of Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva and Head of the Department of Western Languages, Associate Professor Saodat Saidakbarova, paid an official visit to SOAS University.
SOAS ranks 508th in the QS ranking, with 43% of its students being international.
During the visit, the delegation met with SOAS Vice Chancellor Professor Adam Habib, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Professor Graeme Earl, and Director of the School of Oriental and African Studies, as well as Editor-in-Chief of the journal *Oriental and African Studies*, Professor Ayman Shihadeh.
The discussions focused on scientific cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of joint academic projects, academic teacher exchange programs, digital humanities, Islamic studies, and source studies.
The parties reached an agreement to establish inter-university collaboration, conduct joint research, and launch academic exchange programs.
This meeting marked an important step in aligning Uzbekistan’s higher education system with international standards and expanding the scope of scientific cooperation.
