The Head of the Higher School of TSUOS, Yeon Sangheum, has been appointed Chairman of the International Scientific Association
Higher school of Korean Studies, Yeon Sangheum, has been appointed International Chair of another prestigious academic association — The Korean Society of Bilingualism (the Korean Association for Bilingualism Studies).
The association was founded in 1981 and, over the years, has consistently carried out activities aimed at advancing both fundamental and applied research in the field of bilingualism, strengthening the theoretical foundations of bilingual education, and conducting in-depth scholarly analysis of communicative processes that emerge at the intersection of languages and cultures.
The association makes a significant contribution to the study of language policy, multilingualism, intercultural communication, and educational methodology at both national and international levels.
It is expected that this appointment will further enhance the international academic reputation of the Graduate School of Korean Studies and contribute to the implementation of new scholarly initiatives and projects in the field of bilingualism and intercultural studies.
