Teachers and students of TSUOS at the festival “Tandyr Fest” in Baysunsky district

On March 29, 2023, under the leadership of the President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held to address issues related to enhancing the tourism potential of Uzbekistan. In order to implement the tasks set during the meeting, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies launched practical activities in the districts of Rishtan, Yangiqorgon, Chust, and Boysun.
From May 2 to 4 of this year, the “Tandir Fest” festival is scheduled to be held in the Boysun district of Surkhandarya region.
To participate in this festival, a delegation from TSUOS, headed by the Head of the Department of Tourism, Mr. Ch. Khusanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Central Asian Peoples’ History, Mr. B. Odilov, along with a group of master’s students and undergraduates, arrived in Boysun district.
