TSUOS Professor Participates in Book Presentation Dedicated to the 585th Anniversary of Alisher Navoi
On January 22, 2025, Professor Khayrulla Hamidov of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies took part in an event dedicated to the 585th anniversary of the great thinker Alisher Navoi. The presentation of the illustrated book “Pearls of the East”, published in Turkey by Kimyo International University in Tashkent and featuring Navoi’s aphorisms translated into Turkish, Chinese, and English, was held at the National Library of Uzbekistan.
Professor Khayrulla Hamidov, editor of the Turkish translations of the book, spoke about the relevance and challenges of translating Navoi’s works.
