The Vice-Rector of TSUOS is participating in the “Days of Uzbek Culture” event taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

These days, the Days of Uzbek Culture are taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, attracting numerous visitors.

On October 7, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the Chief Imam of the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) and Head of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, visited the Uzbekistan Pavilion and became acquainted with its exhibits.

During the visit, TSUOS Vice-Rector Shuhrat Mirziyatov accompanied the distinguished guest, introducing him to the exhibition showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage.

Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais is a renowned imam and Qur’an reciter from Saudi Arabia. Since 1984, he has served as the Chief Imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and Head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. His Qur’an recitations are famous worldwide, and he is known for promoting peace, compassion, and Islamic values.

At the end of the event, information was presented on the tourism, traditions, culture, and historical monuments of the Baysun, Rishtan, Chust, and Yangikurgan districts, which are assigned to the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
