Official Event in Cooperation between TSUOS and the Embassy of China
On April 30, 2025, an event was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies in cooperation with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan.
The event began with a welcoming ceremony for the delegation led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan, Mr. Yu Jun. After a tour of the university museum, an official meeting was held focusing on the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, speeches were delivered by the Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Professor Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, and the Chinese Ambassador, Mr. Yu Jun. A series of presentations were delivered during the event, highlighting various areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. These included Uzbekistan’s initiatives within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, science and technology, cultural and sociological ties, agricultural development, environmental protection, and current issues in bilateral relations.
