TSUOS Representatives at the International Scientific Conference in Qatar
On April 26–27, 2025, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Philology, Professor N.A. Abdullayev, along with professors from the TSUOS Higher School of Arab Studies, Doctor of Philology Sh.G. Shomusarov and Doctor of Philology H.A. Yuldasheva, participated in an international academic conference on Oriental Studies held in Doha, Qatar.
At this conference, organized for the first time by the Ministry of Education of Qatar, the Debate Center, and Qatar University under the theme “Towards a Balanced Civilizational Dialogue,” TSUOS professors delivered presentations on the development of Oriental Studies in Uzbekistan, particularly in the field of Arab Studies, including the training of specialists and the implementation of scientific research.
Within the framework of the conference, TSUOS representatives – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Philology, Professor N.A. Abdullayev, and Arabist scholars Doctor of Philology, Professor Sh.G. Shomusarov and PhD, Associate Professor H.A. Yuldasheva – met with the Minister of Education of Qatar, Lulwa bint Rashid Al-Khater, Director of the Arabic Language Teaching Center of Qatar University, Alaa Ibrahim, and the former Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Akmaliddin Ihsanoglu.
