TSUOS Representatives Participate in the International Conference on the Timurids Held in Turkey
On April 24, 2025, an international conference titled “Development of Language, Literature, History, and Culture during the Timurid Era” was held in Izmir, Turkey. The event was jointly organized by Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Ege University, the Organization of Turkic States, and the State Museum of Timurid History.
The conference was attended by a delegation from TSUOS, led by Rector Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, and consisting of university vice-rectors and Timurid studies scholars.
The international conference titled “Development of Language, Literature, History, and Culture during the Timurid Era,” held at Ege University in Turkey, continued in the afternoon with sectional sessions.
During these sessions, leading Timurid scholars and professors from around the world presented their lectures based on their academic research.
In addition, within the framework of the conference, a photo exhibition entitled “Treasures of the State Museum of Timurid History” was organized by the State Museum of Timurid History and was presented to the conference participants and students.
