An event aimed at providing employment for graduates was held at TSUOS
In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set at the extended meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 8, 2025, regarding the employment of university graduates, a major international event was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies on September 18, 2025.
This event was organized with the aim of ensuring employment for graduates, increasing the university’s international prestige, and strengthening direct cooperation with foreign employers. Representatives of 38 major companies from the People’s Republic of China took part in the event.
Along with China’s leading companies, representatives of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry also participated. In addition, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies presented its main areas of activity, system of training specialists, and experience in international cooperation through a presentation.
During the event, issues related to the employment of university graduates, their opportunities for internships in foreign companies, and prospects for attracting Chinese investments into the process of training Sinology specialists were thoroughly discussed.
At the same time, leaders of the Chinese Non-Governmental Association of Science and Technology Entrepreneurs and the Chinese Association of Private Science and Technology Industrialists received detailed information about the university’s cooperation opportunities during the meeting. They received comprehensive answers to their questions and expressed interest in developing joint projects, internships, and educational-scientific cooperation in the future.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of Chinese companies became closely acquainted with the university’s scientific potential, pedagogical capacity, and many years of experience in training qualified specialists. They emphasized that the graduates of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies possess high knowledge and skills, and expressed strong interest in attracting these graduates to their companies in the future.
