An International Forum Held at TSUOS within the Framework of SDG 5
On February 11, 2026, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies plans to host the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Developing a Culture of Gender Equality: Family Values, Educational Policy, and the Transformation of Social Consciousness,” in observance of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
This prestigious forum is organized within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality) and aims to expand women’s participation in science, education, and society, strengthen the culture of gender equality, and discuss advanced national and international best practices.
Representatives of the Committee on Family and Women, the Committee on Youth, Women, Culture and Sports under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Council of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party, and several other organizations participated in the conference.
The conference serves as an important scientific and practical platform for promoting gender equality, strengthening the role of women in science, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
