A round table on “Prevention of Drug Crimes” was held at the TSUOS
On February 17, 2026, a round table on “Prophylaxis of Drug Addiction” was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Saidazim Rasulov, faculty, and university students.
Lieutenant Colonel Saidazim Rasulov noted that “Prophylaxis of drug addiction” and the prevention of drug crimes are one of the priority areas of state policy today.
Information was provided on the emergence of new types that are more dangerous than traditional drug addiction, and the digitalization of synthetic drugs and drug trafficking. Drug addiction among student youth has a negative impact not only on health but also on the future.
