Malaysian Delegation at TSUOS
On March 2, 2026, a delegation led by Arhan Shah Anuar, Consul of the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
During the meeting, Rector of TSUOS, professor Gulchekhra Rikhsiyeva, provided information about the ongoing reforms at the university, key research priorities, and achievements in teaching the Malay language, emphasizing that 224 students are currently studying Malay.
The parties also discussed signing a memorandum of cooperation with the University of Malaya, organizing grants and internships for students, and holding joint events.
