A Meeting with Writers Held at TSUOS within the Framework of the “Sharing Enlightenment” Project
On October 24, 2025, a meeting with representatives of the cultural and literary community was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies as part of the nationwide “Sharing Enlightenment” project.
The event, organized in cooperation with the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, aimed to broaden students’ spiritual worldview, develop creative thinking, and strengthen their love for words and literature.
The meeting was attended by prominent writers — Sirojiddin Sayyid, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan; Ahmadjon Meliboyev, Editor-in-Chief of World Literature magazine; and Yahyokhon Fayoz, a member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.
As part of the event, tree saplings were planted in the university courtyard under the “Green Space” initiative.
During the meeting, the guests shared their creative experiences and spoke sincerely about the role of literature and enlightenment in human life. Young writers read their works and received valuable advice from the masters.
This event not only increased students’ interest in literature but also played a significant role in their spiritual and personal development.
