The “Public Speaking” competition took place at TUOS
On December 16, 2025, the School of Korean Studies of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies successfully held the “Public Speaking” competition..
We would like to note that during the first selection round, 53 participants took part by submitting their video presentations, from which 12 of the most qualified candidates advanced to the next stage.
Among the 12 finalists, 10 participants were selected by Korean professors teaching at prestigious universities in the Republic of Korea. The remaining 2 participants were chosen through a voting process conducted on the official Telegram channel of the School of Korean Studies — @Koreyashunoslikoliymaktabi.
In the final stage of the competition, the 12 participants delivered speeches on five different topics. Their public speaking skills, clarity and logical structure of ideas, as well as stage presence, were evaluated by the jury, and the following participants were awarded prize places.
Winners of the competition:
1. Abdurakhmonova Fotima — 150만 원 (150 million won)
2. Ibrohimova Ozoda — 90만 원 (90 million won)
3. Murtozaqulova Raykhona — 60만 원 (60 million won)
