Open Lecture at TSUOS
On March 4, 2026, an open lecture entitled “Written Sources on the History of Central Asia (9th–15th Centuries)” (in Arabic) was organized at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies by DSc, Associate Professor Nodir Karimov.
During the lecture, historical works of the 9th–15th centuries, particularly sources written in Arabic, were thoroughly analyzed, along with their significance for studying the history of Central Asia.
Students engaged in discussions on reading historical sources using textological methods, analyzing historical terminology, and examining the role of manuscript heritage in academic research. The open lecture was enriched with interactive Q&A sessions and scholarly debates.
