TSUOS Organizes Open Dialogue on Enhancing Support for Women in Higher Education
On April 29, 2025, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted the next session of the discussion club on the topic: “Urgent Tasks for Creating Favorable Conditions for Married Students and Student Mothers in Higher Education Institutions,” with the participation of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and representatives of the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party.
Chairperson of the TSUOS Women’s Committee, Shirin Zaynuddinova, took part in the event as an expert.
The session thoroughly addressed the challenges faced by students who simultaneously study, fulfill motherhood duties, and maintain family life. Discussions focused on their social protection, reducing obstacles in the educational process, and effectively utilizing distance learning opportunities.
The discussion club session was highly appreciated by participants, and important proposals were made to improve organizational and regulatory frameworks in this area.
