Book Presentation Held at TSUOS: “Uzbek Children’s Literature. Big Stories for Little Readers: Selected Stories by Normurod Norqobilov”
On May 30, 2025, a presentation ceremony of the book translated into Turkish — “Özbek Çocuk Edebiyatı Küçük Okurlar İçin Büyük Hikâyeler: Narmurad Narkabilov’dan Seçme Öyküler”
(“Uzbek Children’s Literature. Big Stories for Little Readers: Selected Stories by Normurod Norqobilov”) — was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, organized by the Association of Young Translators under the Higher School of Translation, Linguistics, and International Journalism.
The event gathered university leadership, faculty members, students, translators, and invited guests. During the presentation, the content, significance, and creative process of the translation were discussed.
The project was recognized as an important step in gaining practical experience for young translators and as a new opportunity to promote Uzbek literature in foreign languages.
