International Conference on “Uzbekistan–Korea: Current State and Prospects of Cooperation” Held at TSUOS
On February 9, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Uzbekistan–Korea: Current State and Prospects of Cooperation” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
This prestigious event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Centers for Korean Language and Culture, and international organizations. The conference discussed issues of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in the fields of education, science, culture, language teaching, and research.
Leading scholars, professors, teachers, researchers, and specialists took part in the event. Participants put forward proposals and recommendations on developing strategic partnership between the two countries, improving the quality of Korean language education, implementing joint research projects, and expanding academic exchange.
Within the framework of the conference, reports, presentations, and discussions were organized, during which important initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation were proposed.
The international conference played a significant role in bringing Uzbekistan–Korea relations to a new level and in developing scientific and practical cooperation.
