IX Forum of Young Orientalists Held at TSUOS in Honor of Shoislom Shomuhamedov
On April 16, 2025, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted the 9th Forum of Young Orientalists dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the birth of renowned scholar Shoislom Shomuhamedov.
Within the framework of the forum, young researchers presented their papers in fields such as Linguistics, Literary Studies, History and Philosophy, and International Relations.
Participants included students, master’s and doctoral candidates conducting research in various languages and cultures. The forum provided a platform to discuss pressing topics in the field of Oriental Studies.
The event contributes to the development of scholarly traditions in Oriental Studies in Uzbekistan and helps young generations become familiar with the languages, cultures, and histories of Eastern nations.
At the end of the forum, active participants were awarded certificates.
