A round table was held at TSUOS on the topic “Development of the sacred pilgrimage project and the legacy of Alp Er Tonga”
Within the framework of the international scientific-practical conference “Descendants of Alp Er Tunga – The Karakhanids: The Turkic World and the Islamic World during the Karakhanid Era”, a roundtable discussion titled “Developing the Sacred Pilgrimage Project and the Legacy of Alp Er Tunga” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
Renowned scholars, philologists, and researchers participated in the event, presenting scientific reports on ancient Turkic sources, the image of Alp Er Tunga, the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, issues of language and literature, as well as the historical processes in the formation of Turkic-Islamic culture.
