TSUOS Opens New Opportunities and Projects for Students
On March 5, 2026, TSUOS held the “Rector and Youth” meeting as part of Youth Day. During the event, the rector shared information about the university’s work with young people, entrepreneurship development, and international cooperation projects.
It was also highlighted that through the National Bank branch at the university, students will have the opportunity to access loans under the “Step into the Future” project and implement at least 10 new business projects. Students were informed about the activities of the “Orientlab” Youth Club, that 30 startup projects are currently underway, and that by the end of the year 20 of the most successful startups will be recognized.
In the area of international cooperation, an innovation center will be opened in partnership with Japan’s Balcom company, a media center will be established with Korea’s Kyungbuk University along with Korean language courses, and the Uzbekistan–Japan Career Guidance Center will be organized together with Yamagata University, offering free Japanese language courses, which generated great interest among students. A career center has also been established in the field of tourism and hospitality, with opportunities for students to join volunteer groups.
Regarding sports and cultural development, the rector noted the organization of the Rector’s Olympics and Universiade, as well as opportunities for students to join clubs for cycling, chess, and table tennis. Students involved in translator groups and literary translation will be eligible for the rector’s scholarship. For students interested in language learning, the “Ibrat Farzandlari” Center will soon be opened, providing extensive opportunities for skill and knowledge enhancement.
