INFORMATION LETTER OF THE INTERNATIONAL
SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
Department of Translation Studies and International Journalism of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies will organize an International scientific and practical event on the topic: “TRANSLATION FORUM 2022” on December 10-12, 2022.
The Conference is organized in the following areas:
- History of translation studies and principles of translation development in the second half of the 20th century;
- Issues of translation style, criticism and editing;
- Problems of translation of modern prose and poetry;
- Intercultural communication and linguoculturological aspects of literary translation;
- Topical issues of translation of Uzbek literature into the languages of the Eastern countries and Eastern literature into Uzbek language;
- Development of simultaneous, consecutive and scientific and technical translation;
- The role of translation and editing in international journalism.
The author must clearly indicate the direction of the article.
Articles must be prepared in accordance with the following requirements:
- The total volume of the article is 5-6 pages. The text format in MS Word, Times New Roman font, spacing 1, size 14. The text of the article is edited in A-4 format, leaving 2 cm above and below, 3 cm on the left and 1.5 cm on the right.
- In the middle of the upper part of the article, the title of the article is given in bold capital letters.
- In the middle of the next line, the following information about the author should be indicated: surname, name, patronymic, degree and title, place of work
(Name of higher educational institution, city and country), phone number and
E-mail address are in italics.
- The article must be prepared in the following order:
- Abstract and keywords in Uzbek, Russian, English with 5-6 words
- Main part
- Conclusion
- References. It should be placed in square brackets [].
(For example, [7, 128.]).
- The list of references is indicated in numbers (7. Salomov G. Rus tilidan uzbekchaga maqol, matal va idiomalarni tarjima qilish masalasiga doir. – T.: Fan, 1961).
Articles are accepted in Uzbek, Russian and English.
- Conference proceedings are indexed in the Google Scholar database.
- An electronic DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is obtained for each article
- Participants are presented with Conference proceedings in electronic form and a certificate.
- Accepted articles will be published as a collection of conference materials.
