The Culture Days of Turkey are being held at TSUOS
Since December 1, 2021, the Culture Days of Turkey are being held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies jointly with the Embassy of Turkey in Uzbekistan. The event was attended by H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar, representatives of the Embassy and the head of the TIKA organization in Uzbekistan Cemalettin Tuney.
The event was opened by TSUOS rector Gulchehra Rikhsieva and the H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar with their opening speeches, as well as by the Ambassador a number of professors-Turkologists of the university led by the rector were awarded with the Certificate of Honour for their significant contribution to the development of Turkology.
In turn, two students of the Faculty of Turkology of TSUOS were awarded a rector’s scholarship by Gulchehra Rikhsieva. The event was continued with dance and musical performances by students of the Faculty of Turkology.
