“Prospects for the development of a new economy: global, regional and national characteristics” were discussed at TSUOS
On April 21, 2020, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a republican online scientific-practical conference on “Prospects for the development of a new economy: global, regional and national features.”
The conference was organized by the Department of Economics of the Middle East on the Zoom platform and was attended by university administration, professors, specialists, doctoral students and researchers, as well as students.
During the conference, the speakers covered a wide range of issues, including the classification of new and traditional economies, aspirations for a new economy and industrial policy priorities, the theoretical foundations of the digital economy, the characteristics of the new economy and its structure.
At the end of the conference, practical proposals and conclusions were developed and presented to the relevant ministries and organizations.
