The 6th Scientific-Practical Conference “Young Navoiy Scholars” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies
On May 3, 2025, the 6th traditional scientific-practical conference “Young Navoiy Scholars” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, dedicated to the memory of Hero of Uzbekistan, laureate of the Beruni State Prize, Professor Suyima Ganieva.
The event was attended by the university administration, faculty members, scholars of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, researchers, and students. During the conference, the life and academic legacy of Suyima Ganieva and her contribution to the study of Alisher Navoi’s works were commemorated.
Navoi’s literary heritage was also analyzed from the perspectives of linguistics, literary studies, cultural studies, and translation studies. Presentations were delivered on the structure of “Majolis un-nafois,” Navoi’s circle of interlocutors, and his ghazals.
At the end of the event, the importance of thoroughly studying Suyima Ganieva’s scientific legacy and widely promoting it among young researchers was especially emphasized.
