Representatives of Umm Al-Qura University of Saudi Arabia visited TSUOS
On June 9, 2023, TSUOS was visited by representatives of the Umm Al-Qura University of Saudi Arabia – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Omer ibn Evaz Al-Zaidi, Director of the Umm Al-Qura Arabic Language Institute Sheikh Hasan Al-Bukhari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Imad ibn Ali Al-Jahdali, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Wail ibn Muhammad Al-Amoudi, as well as an employee of this university Said ibn Abdullah Az-Zahrani.
At the beginning of the interview, the rector of the university G.Rikhsieva thanked for the visit and spoke in detail about the structure of TSUOS and the areas of study, specialties, oriental languages.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation with the University of Umm Ul-Kura within the framework of scientific projects, in particular the Double Degree project, the organization of long-term and short-term internships in Arabic for students and teachers, and the organization of student exchanges were discussed.
Umm Ul Qura University is ranked in the top 400 in the QS World University Rankings. Today, this university has more than 4,000 researchers and more than 100,000 students.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on priority areas of cooperation.
