The general secretary of “TURKSOY” Sultan Rayev visited TSUOS

The International Organization of Turkish Culture was established in 1993 according to the agreement and principles of cooperation signed by the Ministries of Culture of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey. The international organization is an important factor in preserving, developing and passing on material and cultural monuments to the next generation, uniting the Turkic peoples.
In particular, cooperation relations with “TURKSOY” have been established at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. On June 6, 2022, there was a meeting between Gulchekhra Rikhsieva, the rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and Sultan Raev, the general secretary of “TURKSOY”.
On September 9, 2022, based on this agreement, the “TURKSOY” Center was opened at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. Sultan Raev, general secretary of the organization “TURKSOY” and representatives of the organization took part in the opening ceremony.
Within the framework of the “TURKSOY” center, TSUOS further plans to develop scientific research in the field of Turkic studies, to hold scientific and educational events in cooperation, to involve students and professors in the activities of the center.
Also, a photo exhibition related to the activities of “TURKSOY” organization was organized at the opening ceremony.
