Visit of members of the Embassy to TSIOS led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia, Sunario Cartadinata
On January 30, the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was visited by members of the Embassy led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia, Sunario Cartadinata. During the meeting, the rector of TSIOS, G.Rixsiyeva informed the guests about the history, activities and current development of Indonesian studies. They also exchanged views on the future tasks of the Center for Indonesian Language and Culture, which has been operating at the institute since 2013. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the development of cooperation with TSIOS and Indonesian higher education institutions to a new level and made relevant proposals. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia presented about 150 books to the Information Resource Center of TSIOS for students studying Indonesian . At the end of the meeting, the embassy representatives expressed hope for further development and continued cooperation with TSIOS.
