The “Young Oriental Diplomats” club (hereinafter referred to as the Club) at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies was established on the basis of the public as a social group and gathered around it talented, active and eager students.
The club is subordinate to the administration of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and operates on the basis of mutual cooperation with partner organizations.
Membership: Students and young researchers of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies can join the club. The age of the club member must not exceed 35 years. Students who wish to join the club apply to the club coordinator, write a motivational essay and pass an interview. If a member of the club does not show activity during his activity, he will be removed from the membership list and will not be admitted to the membership until the next academic year.
Goals and objectives of the club
The main goals of the club include:
– Organization of students’ practical activities and academic communication by providing students with an in-depth study of diplomacy, international relations, and oriental studies.
– To form and develop the skills of negotiation, analysis of the international situation, and diplomatic protocol among club members.
– To help strengthen professional and personal ties between young diplomats of Uzbekistan and other countries, and to develop their leadership skills.
- To achieve the intended goals, the Club solves the following tasks:
– Organization of scientific events: lectures, seminars, workshops, and training sessions with the participation of leading specialists in international relations, diplomacy, and oriental studies.
– Conducting model meetings of international organizations (for example, UN model, SCO model) and simulation games aimed at mastering diplomatic processes in practice.
– Participation in international and national forums, conferences, and competitions related to diplomacy and oriental studies.
– Preparation and publication of scientific and analytical materials, comments, and reports on current issues in international relations and diplomacy.
– Organization of cultural and educational events aimed at popularizing the cultural heritage and traditions of Eastern countries.
