The appeal of the rector of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies
Dear students of Oriental Studies!

The most important measure in our country – quarantine – is taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which poses a threat to the whole world.
We must take the quarantine period seriously! Unfortunately, some people do not follow the rules of quarantine and go out unnecessarily. Note that there are reports of an increase in the number of people infected with the virus through contact with infected people.
You need to stay home! Don’t even hang out with your friends for a while!
I ask you not to go outside as much as possible, only when absolutely necessary (pharmacy, grocery store and daily necessities) – in personal protective equipment (mask)
Take care of yourself, stay home, eat on time, read a book and work on yourself!
For you, your teachers are busy posting teaching materials on relevant subjects in the MOODLE system on our website. If you have not yet received a login password to log in to this system, please contact @tashgivuz_bot or your dean’s office.
You can meet your Masters remotely through MEDIA pages !!! Enrich your modern knowledge by taking distance learning courses such as Coursera.com in addition to our own databases; get acquainted with present-day techniques that came from Scopus and Web of Science !!! Don’t waste your precious time !!!
Remember that each of you is needed by your dear family and me !! We have big plans to develop the field of Oriental Studies! Only you can do them. You are the future of Oriental studies! I look forward to seeing you all at our wonderful institute! Good health and peace to all of you and your families! We will win together!
