International Education Day at Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies
At the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, January 24 was declared the International Day of Education due to the importance of education in maintaining peace and sustainable development in the world. In order to ensure the implementation of the letter of the Ministry of Secondary Special Education No. 87-03-288 dated January 20, 2020, on January 24, this year at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was widely celebrated “International Education Day”. Presentations in English by 1st year masters of translation Nazarova Shoira and Isakova Nodira, under the guidance of the teacher of the department “Western- European languages” Musina Galiya Gazievna,PhD, left a deep impression on the participants of the meeting. At this event, professors and students discussed the current role of education and its problems, interesting information about the work of UNESCO in this area. And further discussions about their attention and interests in education showed their enthusiasm to study.
