The working group of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited schools in the Rishtan district to promote tourism
During the visit, Head of the “Tourism” Department, PhD in History and Associate Professor Ch. Khusanov, lecturer Sh. Yazdanova, and lecturer of the “History of Central Asian Peoples” Department A. Shosaidov gave presentations on the essence of tourism, its types (ecotourism, cultural tourism, ethnotourism, gastronomic tourism, etc.), opportunities in domestic and international tourism, as well as the tourism potential of the Rishtan district. The main goal was to foster tourism culture among students and increase their interest in historical, cultural, and natural heritage.
As part of the event, quizzes were held on the topics “Do You Know Rishtan?” and “Rishtan Through the Eyes of Youth,” and active participants were awarded commemorative gifts.
