In order to promote tourism among the younger generation, the working group of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited schools in the Yangikurgan district
During the visit, the Head of the Department of “Tourism”, PhD in History, Associate Professor Ch. Khusanov, and the lecturer of the Department of “History of Central Asian Peoples”, A. Shosaidov, provided detailed information to the students about the role of tourism in the country’s economy and cultural life, opportunities for youth in this sector, as well as international experiences.
As part of the event, quizzes titled “Do you know Yangikurgan?” and “Yangikurgan through the eyes of youth” were held, and active students were awarded with commemorative gifts.
In addition, the participants of the meeting received useful advice on obtaining education in the field of tourism, choosing a profession, and starting a career in this direction.
In his speech, Associate Professor Chori Khusanov, Head of the “Tourism” Department, provided detailed information about the university’s educational process, available academic programs, master’s degree specialties, modern facilities created for students, opportunities for in-depth study of foreign languages, and the university’s international partnerships.
