TSUOS Team in Boysun: Meeting Held with School Graduates
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. PQ–135 dated April 26, 2023, a promotional and awareness-raising event was held in Boysun district—assigned to the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies—with the aim of enhancing its tourism potential and increasing local youth’s interest in higher education.
As part of the visit, under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Tourism, Chori Khusanov, talented, active, and socially engaged students of TSUOS visited schools No. 1, 2, 6, and 47 in Boysun district and conducted open dialogue sessions with graduating students.
During the meeting, Chori Khusanov provided detailed information about the university’s activities, educational programs, conditions for students, opportunities for learning foreign languages, and international cooperation.
Youth leader of TSUOS, Komiljon Suyarov, also addressed the audience, elaborating on the spiritual and educational events, festivals, competitions, and social projects implemented with student involvement, as well as the university’s incentive system and support for socially vulnerable students.
Associate Professor of the Department of Central Asian Peoples’ History, Bobir Odilov, participated in the event and provided comprehensive information to the students about the “EthnoTravel” project initiated by TSUOS, its goals, and the new opportunities it offers for young people.
During the event, school students asked various questions of interest and received detailed answers. The free and sincere dialogue helped strengthen their trust in higher education and inspired a positive mindset and motivation.
