On December 19, 2022, “Urdu language and literature, history and culture of Pakistan” department of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies held a cultural and educational event on the topic “Allama Muhammad Iqbal – a bright figure of Urdu literature”.
Allama Muhammad Iqbal is famous as a poet, philosopher, public figure not only in Pakistan but also in the whole world.
The poet is embodied as a great representative of Urdu literature, he promoted the love for the motherland in his ghazals and poems as a supreme blessing.
Allama Muhammad Iqbal wrote not only in Urdu but also in Persian, Punjabi and English languages.
His poetry had had a strong impact on Muslims all over the world, especially youngsters. He created beautiful poetry collections such as “Asrar Hudi”, “Jovidnama”, as well as the classic work “Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam”. He emphasized the most urgent problems in these areas with these collections.
