A workshop on recruiting personnel for customs authorities was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies
On March 30 of this year, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, in cooperation with the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized a seminar-training workshop aimed at attracting students and graduates to serve in the state customs authorities.
Within the framework of the workshop, responsible officials of the Customs Committee provided detailed information on the main requirements for service in customs authorities, the stages of the selection process, the qualifications and competencies required from candidates, as well as the specific features of customs service.
During the event, participants received information about:
• available vacancies and перспективные направления in the customs system;
• the stages of the selection process and evaluation criteria;
• the documents and procedures required for entering public service;
• opportunities for professional development and career growth.
At the end of the event, preliminary interviews were conducted with students interested in working in customs authorities, and further directions for their participation in future selection processes were identified.
This workshop played an important role in ensuring employment opportunities for university graduates, guiding them toward public service, and developing their practical professional skills.
