An extended meeting of the Academic Council was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies
On December 29, 2025, an extended meeting of the Academic Council was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. All faculty members of the university took part in the meeting.
In accordance with the agenda, reports were presented on the implementation of the decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Government, as well as the decisions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Academic Council.
In addition, the meeting reviewed the results of youth-related and spiritual-educational activities for 2025, as well as issues concerning the meaningful organization of students’ winter holidays. Information was also provided on the organization of the educational process and methodological support at the Academic Lyceum under the University of Oriental Studies.
During the meeting, issues related to the organization of departmental activities during the winter break, as well as the approval of the chairs and members of the State Attestation Commissions for the 2025–2026 academic year, were discussed. A report was also presented by the trade union on the work carried out to ensure social protection and labor safety for faculty members, staff, and students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the activities of the Language Education and Consulting Center for 2025 and its plans for 2026 were reviewed.
Additionally, as part of the meeting, commemorative gifts were presented to a number of professors on the occasion of their anniversaries, and diplomas were ceremonially awarded to faculty members who had obtained academic degrees and titles.
