The 3rd meeting of the University Council was held
On October 31, 2024, the 3rd meeting of the University Council was held.
The meeting discussed the implementation of decisions and resolutions from the President and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as orders and decisions from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, and the Council.
Additionally, the meeting provided information on the ongoing efforts at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies to ensure the implementation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s resolution PQ-135 dated April 26, 2023, regarding “Additional measures for the rapid development of the tourism potential of the Republic and further increase in the number of domestic and foreign tourists.” The discussion also covered scientific, practical, innovative, and startup projects within the framework of state scientific programs, as well as information about the university’s scientific centers.
During the council, issues related to enhancing the effectiveness of the scientific activities of talented students, master’s degree students, and researchers were also discussed.
Additionally, the council discussed the preparation of the university’s educational programs and specialties for the accreditation and certification process, as well as the inventory of academic programs.
