The international education fair for students was successfully held
On October 21, 2025, the International Student Fair, jointly organized by Gyeongguk National University (GKNU) and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), was successfully held in the “Silk Road” Hall of the Wyndham Hotel in Tashkent.
The event brought together students interested in studying in the Republic of Korea, their parents, as well as representatives of the education sector. During the fair, participants received detailed information about study opportunities in Korea, GKNU’s academic programs, and the upcoming establishment of the GKNU Korean Language Center in Tashkent.
During the event, Mr. Yeon Sangheum, Head of the School of Korean Studies, delivered his congratulatory remarks, highlighting the importance of the newly established GKNU Korean Language Center, the prospects of strong cooperation between the two universities, and the new opportunities this partnership will create for young people.
The newly established center will serve as an official pathway to the main campus of Gyeongguk National University and will contribute to building a systematic and high-quality educational environment for students.
At the conclusion of the event, participants were thanked for their active involvement and informed about upcoming joint projects planned within the framework of this partnership.
