Workshop on calligraphy
Calligraphy is one of the most beautiful and elegant arts, which means writing art on books and architectural constructions, art books. Centuries-old heritage of the Oriental people, calligraphy and book art have a special place and nowadays it is popular too.
On November 30, 2018 at the Department of Arabic Philology of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies was held a meeting with the famous calligrapher Habibullo Salikh. Professors, teachers and students who are interested in calligraphy took part in this event.
Khattot Habibullo Salih informed students about the peculiarity of the art of calligraphy, the history of development of this type of art and its importance today. He also highlighted the need to focus on the study of calligraphy and demonstrated his skills to students.
