International Conference on New Trends in Foreign Language Teaching
On April 10, 2026, the Department of Western Languages of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized an international scientific conference on the topic “New Trends in Foreign Language Teaching: Inclusive Education and Innovations in EFL/ESP.”
The conference was devoted to discussing modern approaches to foreign language teaching, current issues of inclusive education, and innovative methods in EFL/ESP. The conference was held in both offline and online formats.
The plenary session was moderated by Saodat Saidakbarova, PhD, Head of the Department of Western Languages. During the session, international and local scholars delivered presentations on such relevant topics as language teaching methodology, intercultural communication, corpus linguistics, inclusive education, the methodological potential of artificial intelligence, and vocabulary enhancement through lexical mapping.
Within the framework of the conference, section meetings were also organized on innovative methods in foreign language teaching, the development of inclusive education, the introduction of pedagogical technologies, and the study of international experience.
