A cooperation meeting on increasing the tourism potential was held in Yangiqorgon
On November 29, 2025, a cooperation meeting was held at No. 1 Polytechnic College of Yangiqorgon district in Namangan region to enhance the tourism potential of Yangiqorgon. The event was attended by the district governor, Najmiddinov Asadulla Ikramovich, and Associate Professor, PhD Bobir Odilov from Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies. The discussion focused on the development of tourism in the district.
During the event, B. Odilov provided detailed information about the local tourist resources, historical and cultural monuments, and natural sites of Yangiqorgon. He also shared insights with hotel staff, entrepreneurs engaged in tourism services, and the local population, including youth.
Proposals were made to develop tourism infrastructure, create new travel routes, increase employment among residents, and implement initiatives that will positively impact the local economy.
Local authorities also presented their suggestions for creating a tourism brand for Yangiqorgon, developing informational and promotional materials, training guide specialists, and strengthening scientific and practical cooperation in the region.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working systematically to enhance the tourism potential of Yangiqorgon and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in this field.
