THE 1st FORUM OF YOUNG ORIENTALISTS – “THE FUTURE OF ORIENTAL STUDIES IN THE VIEW OF THE YOUTH”
On 22nd of April 2017 in Tashkent state institute of oriental studies was held the 1st Forum of young orientalists on the theme of “The future of oriental studies in the view of the youth”, dedicated to the memory of well-known orientalist, the doctor of philology, professor, the laureate of international Firdausi award Shoislom Shomuhammedov. In the forum took part the administrative stuff of the institute, professors, the family members of Shoislom Shomuhammedov and more than 80 students. In the forum, besides the students of TSIOS, as well as the students of UWED, TIU and TFI took active part. Talented students presented the results of their scientific research in four directions: philology, eastern philosophy and historical sources studies, world politics and the history of foreign countries, the economy of foreign countries and country specific-studies. At the end of the Forum all participants and the best presenters were awarded with certificates and souvenirs.
