A MEETING WAS HELD WITH THE NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY TO UZBEKISTAN OLGAN BEKAR
On April 14, 2021, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar.
During the meeting, Doctor of Political Sciences Olgan Bekar got acquainted with the activities of TDSHU, the role of the university in the development of educational and scientific ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey, the current state and future plans of Turkic studies.
Mr. Bekar noted that in recent years, TSUOS has been cooperating with Turkish universities and organizations, the Turkish Embassy, and the Embassy will continue to support various initiatives in the field of education and science. This is evidenced by the fact that TSUOS is the first higher education institution which I visited in Uzbekistan, the guest said.
